Medium to full bodied in nature, this wine has ample fruit purity combined with lively savoury nuances. Notes of primary blue fruits combined with licorice straps and a brilliantly fragrant floral overtone. Tannins are savoury and detailed. They run long across the palate and opens the wine to a long complex finish.

    The nose is bright and fresh with dark cedar, ripe cherry, dried herb, lavender and pepper.

    Palate
    The texture is clean and pure, it holds excellent ripe round and dense fruits. It gives great transition into a late palate that is drying with reverberating fruits. In the end you left with a nice meaty dense tannin that hold a lovely minerality throughout. Brave Faces will crave to be enjoyed with food and will win many friends at the table.

    Lovely lifted notes of fig, blackcurrant, fresh cedar, liquorice and tar waft from the glass.

    Palate
    The texture is caressing and coats all your taste receptors on your tongue, this wine is so damn drinkable, its jumps out of the glass and leaps down your throat. I love the soft nature here, it really lift you up and take you for a ride, the finish is very clean and the tannin reverberate across the late palate, this is very seamless as all the acid, fruit and tannins work together to make this a very rewarding experience, this balance will lead to maturation point of 8 to 10 years but if very enjoyable as a young wine.

    Bouquet explodes with black currant, smoked hickory, glazed currents, aniseed, tar with a touch or cloves and cut mint.

    Palate
    he palate starts out with drive and a thick sway of primary and robust fruits, this does make you guess and it’s all laid out with a beautiful clean exposure of strong fruits across the mouth. The tannins are well integrated and offer a nice dry twist to the late palate. I’d have this firmly in the slurp-able category, it really does just slide down so easily. I take a lot of pleasure from this wine, one mouthful after another. This wine will age but offers a great deal of pleasure upon release.
